Hi,

I'd like to know if there is certification training on TRIZ being offered anywhere in India (specifically New Delhi).

Whatever information you can share will be of great help.

Thanks,

Vin.

As for certifications that are followed for TRIZ the only body that has an process and is also recognized by major industry bodies the world over like Intel, Samsung, LG, GE etc is certification by MA TRIZ. MATRIZ has levels of certification from level 1 to level 5 with level 1 being basic and level 5 is Master. The maximum level one can attain by education is level 3.These certifications are carried out by regional bodies that represent MATRIZ. under guidelines from MATRIZ. The hours of education for level 3 certification is 250+ hrs along with requirements for a project that leads to patents being filed. In INDIA the body that will be certifying for these levels is TRIZ ASSOCIATION OF ASIA ( TAA) and the formalities including workings , web site etc is currently underway, we would be shortly putting up details. Bear with us till then

Chairman TAA

¥Every body loves to play holi, children specially like playing with water balloons, as water balloons have a potential of hurting people government put a ban on them and as a substitute low thickness plastic bags are used.
¥but the problem is after holi there are many such plastic bags that are causing litter that if
not cleaned will go and choke the drainage systems
¥what can be done to
improve this situation?

In my earlier post I have posted a problem. For the persons who do not belog to India. Holi is a festival of colours and splasing water over persons. In the recent past children would fill the ballon with water and hurl at people. I hope this explains the context of the problem to be solved.

At TAA we have been experimenting with age group 10 to 15 in teaching them Classical TRIZ along with OTSM TRIZ. A boy who is 12 years old was able to solve the problem in approx 10 min.The important point is SOLVE ( he was able to utlize the Hill model, the exaggeration model, the core conflict model, the Most desirable result model in combination of using the axiom of reflection in OTSM TRIZ) and arrive at a solution .Adults can also try this problem and respond, however what is more important than the solution is the process of thinking, You could send your solutions along with the logic and the steps taken to solve it at shreephadnisusa.net.

Thank you, Shree–this is a great story!   Could you take pictures at the Holi festival, of “ordinary” plastic bags (that are safe but create litter) and the wonderful solution from the 12 year-old inventor?   It would make a very good TRIZ Journal article, and many people would learn from your work.

It is also a very important example that inventive problems do not have to be technology problems–solving this problem helps people and helps society and requires good thinking.   Thank you.

I am in the process of writing a book on how a TRIZ expert visits the education model and teaches a brilliant boy Non Typical problem solving. This  problem is going to be one of the problems the child solves based on our real experience in eductating 12-15 year olds. I do have a picture, but dont know how to send you,I will try to pull out this part from the book chapter and send for publication also for the benefit of all

Great-you can put links to pictures in this discussion forum, but this sounds like you really have enough for TRIZ Journal to publish as an article or even a series. Go to http://www.triz-journal.com/submit Thanks!

Dear Kashi,

You never learn the fundamentals of thinking by knowing solutions of the problems. Infact all it does is gives us an answer , does not help in knowing how the solution was developed. The process of developing a solution is of utmost importance, I would rather not disclose an answer to the problem but would encourage all to think and put forward your thinking logic to the problem after which I can help you solve this very problem using your own thinking. My question you you is what in your opinion is the initial situation of the problem. Pls describe it.

Regards

Shree
